It is interesting, talking about Facebook, that nearly every discussion board/forum that you may choose to read, nearly always turns into a Flaming War at some point during the proceedings. I find it very strange.

Generally, a lack of social context creates an element of anonymity, which allows users to feel insulated from the forms of punishment they might receive in a more conventional setting.

It’s no surprise that I too have a dislike of and mild fear of “Groups”.

I thought it was bad when I was in school, and it was! But nothing compared to what kids go through today. My mum raised me with a lot of tolerance, taught me how to stand up for myself and others. I’m grateful for that.

My sentiments exactly Aanders!
But you know FBs Terms state quite clearly that by using or accessing Facebook, you agree to not bully, intimidate, or harass any user.
Yes, I know it does go on regardless, but the only way to try to stop it, is to report it. Did you? I certainly would have.

Yep, it’s scary. What strikes me with doing on it Facebook like in your blogg, or through sms etc, is 1) how coward an act it is. You can bully other kids (or adults) without having to look them in the eye, and 2) you can bully others everywhere, anytime. There are no safe havens. A vicious sms or FB post will reach you anywhere; at home in your room, at the gym, on your holiday…
